A Celebration of Christchurch’s Botanical Heritage
As part of our ongoing collaboration with SSP Australia and New Zealand, Tailor Inc. is proud to have designed and delivered Fern & Co Cafe, the second of two projects at Christchurch International Airport.
This all day cafe draws inspiration from Christchurch’s rich botanical heritage, paying homage to its reputation as the “Garden City” of New Zealand. Designed to offer travellers a welcoming and immersive experience, Fern & Co Cafe blends natural elements with contemporary aesthetics to create a space that feels both vibrant and relaxing.
At the heart of the cafe, a central island serves as the focal point, providing an inviting hub for guests to enjoy a carefully curated selection of locally sourced coffee and dishes. Overhead, a striking trellis structure defines the space, extending seamlessly into the seating area where lush greenery enhances the sense of warmth and comfort. The result is a dynamic yet cozy environment that reflects Christchurch’s botanical charm while offering a refreshing escape within the bustling airport setting.
